I can't believe that I am leaving so soon! That flu by so fast! I am sad to not see the Eiffel Tower every day! :(

School!

I am in school and it is NOT like school in the states! Let me tell you about their schedule. . .

They start school at 8:30 and they end school at 4:30 because Wednesdays we don't have school.

Anyway. . . You get in your class room and you do some french and papers until playtime. Playtime is recess but they call it playtime because they have 3 playtimes and only one of those is recess. Here are the playtime hours 10:00, 11:30 (That is lunch time and they have 3 hours to eat lunch and play outside) and there's 3:00.

After the first playtime me and someone named Ozghan (O-zan) go in the line to CME2. That is our math class and we also go in there is our teacher didn't get to school on time. Math is very long and I don't understand anything. It is very hard and guess what I think it is 5th grade math! It is sooo hard! And then finally it is lunch.

For lunch we have a Salad, a Cheese plate, A main course, Dessert, and a Baguette. And you can get as much food as you want! For recess I usually play Elastic, 123 Soleil or Kate or Catcat.

My favorite is Elastic. It is a string game and I bet you guys would really like it! I am bringing some home so we can play it!

After I have to go to Art. You don't do really any thing in art. All you do is glue. . . and glue and even the art teacher doesn't speak english! So Ozghan always points things out.

And then its play time.

After we do some projects and some fun paper. And then we go home. All of the parents bring a big snack like cookies and crackers or they go to the bakery. I go to the bakery!

FAMOUS!!!!!!!!!!

My dad is friends with the number 1 doubles player in tennis in the world! THE BRYAN BROTHERS!!!!!!!!

He is REALLY good friends with them! He has known them since he was little! They played sooo much tennis together! Well the Bryan Brothers heard that my dad was in Madrid,Spain so they offered us tickets to see them practice! My dad told me that I should go with him because I am a big Tennis lover and I thought it would be ok and that it would be boring but I was wrong!

We went to see them practice tennis what was not very fun because I was in jeans and it was BLAZING hot out! It was so hot I had to get some news paper and poke a nose hole and two more holes for the eyes and I had to stick the news paper over my head! I looked like a dork! Then the Bryan Brothers came up to us "Hey Jeff!" Bob bryan said I was amazed! Every one was looking at us. But not in a bad way in a good way in a VERY GOOD way! Bob looked at me. I thought Oh no. . . He is looking at me and if he is looking at me he is looking at my mask! " Wow are these your girls?" He said "Yes these are my girls! This is Celine. . ." Bob shook celines hand " And this is Mya." " Hello Mya love the look!" I stared for a LONG time then I laughed " Thank you!" " Well Hay do you want to go and get something to eat sometime?" My dad said "Yeah sure love too, Hey but ah I have to go and practice so I will text you when I'm done." Bob said. He jogged over to get his Tennis racket and we where off. Celine and I got REALLY hungry so we went out to lunch.

We went to a quiet place and we got our lunch. I had a baguette, Water, hamburger with fries. I was so glad I got to have my own little baguette! It was really tasty too! The fries where really greasy but I didn't care ( I was really hungry!) And the hamburger was HORRIBLE! The bread was really hard it hurt my mouth and braces to take a small bite! And the meat inside the bread made me feel queasy! We finished and went to see someone else play and they where one of dads friends too and he was the number 1 singles player in tennis in the world! We went to see him practice and he was good! But one of his vollys where out of shape! It started to rain and Celine and dad gave me there baguettes and I still had mine and it was raining so I decided to SAVE THE BREAD!!!!! I put the bread in my shirt and I looked like I was FAT!

"Ok we are going to go and take a picture with my friends." We went over to the front and there they where the Bryan Brothers! We got a picture with them and lots of other people took pictures of us because they thought we where FAMOUS!

Arc de Triumph

Today we went to the Arc de Triumph and we walked on the the most famous street in in the world! Its called . . . Champs-Elysees. It was soooo long my legs felt like jello when we got done with the street! After the street we went on the Arc de Triumph. It was amazing! We saw everything from the top! And when I was up there I felt so free!

My favorite part was when I got to stand on the bar and see the Eiffel Tower and the Sacre- couer.

The Sacre-couer was really far away but it was on top of a mountain so yo could see it well. We got off of the Arc de Triumph and headed home but while we where heading home right by the Arc de Triumph was a little fire that gleamed in the moon light. There where billions of flowers surrounding it and the wind blew the fire to one side so I thought it was going to set one of the flowers on fire and then that would make a big fire! So I got a little scared! My dad said that after the Arc de Triumph we could go on the Eiffel Tower but we didn't get to. I was really sad! We got home my mom was really happy when we got home! Can you guess why? Eva was screaming like an elephant if he didn't get what he wanted!

The Eiffel Tower at night!

At night it is soo beautiful (But not as beautiful as in the day time!) and its also so calm and peaceful. And all the cafe's are open and couples sit outside the cafe and drink Hot Chocolate and watch the moon. But my favorite part about the night is the Eiffel Tower! At night the Eiffel Tower sparkles and glitters sooo bright. It is beautiful! It starts glittering at 8:00 to 8:05 and 9:00 to 9:05 and 10:00 to 10:05 and 11:00 to 11:05 then it stopes sparkling. But I keep on hoping every day that I will get to be on the Eiffel Tower when it sparkles!

Eiffel Tower

My family and I are in a hotel outside of Paris and my Dad and I needed to go into the city and find an apartment. . . So my Dad and I woke up at 5:30 A.M. and raced off to catch the bus and then the train.


1 hour later...

I can't believe I'm actually here in Paris!!! I'm just so amazed with all of this!

My Dad and I finally arrived and we headed to breakfast. "Would I get to see the Eiffel Tower?" I asked myself, but then I heard a voice. "Hey Jeff, nice to see you, who is this?" I stared at the guy that was right in front of me waiting to see what he would do. He had short brown hair and glasses and he looked like he had a golfers outfit. He had a black collared sweater on. "David, this is Mya, Mya this is David." I keep on staring then I finally came out "Hello David." "Why hello Mya. Would you like to eat breakfast?" I nodded my head. We walked over to our seats and there was a heater! I was happier than ever! Walking on the streets of Paris with fresh, cold, freezing air I was happy that there was a heater. The cafe had a big awning covering us so we wouldn't get wet. The tables were nicely set but they didn't have a tablecloth. The waiter came over to us and asked us what we wanted for breakfast. David said that there was Hot Chocolate and a baguette and lots of other stuff. I absolutely chose two Hot Chocolate and two baguettes they were delicious. The second baguette I ate on the street. I wanted to feel what it was like eating a baguette on the street.

We all followed David to his old apartment. He showed us the very top of the apartment and said you have to climb on the roof but the ladder was gone so we couldn't. It was broken and ripped up, up there. It was so bad I saw millions of pigeons and 2 of the pigeons had baby eggs . We went back to the bottom. David said " Would you like to see the Eiffel Tower?" I looked him straight in the eye. I nodded. David spoke to my dad about the city and the apartments. . . And me I just stood around taking pictures of every thing! The apartments, stores, cafes and restaurants were all stuck together. There were no gaps between the apartments or the cafes and restaurants. It was like I was in a fairy tale.

"Ok Mya, if you look left to the trees then look straight up you will see the Eiffel Tower!" My head kept on bobbling while I walked. It went left and right, left and right. All I could see was the apartments and all that other stuff but then a little point came through one big apartment. I stared at the point for a long time and soon the point got longer and wider and soon it became the very tip top of the Eiffel Tower. I screamed in my head no one could hear me they only could see the front of my face bursting up. I kept staring. "Where's the rest of the Eiffel Tower?" I said to David. Keep walking and you will walk right into it. My heart started pounding really hard and I was about to faint. Was this it? I thought I was dreaming. It was the Eiffel Tower all right. I was amazed. It was so much taller then I ever thought it would be. Wow!
